Real World Interaction and Motivation
There are some truths I’ve been realizing. The most pronounced of which is - specially in this era of Corona Virus - is that the lack of interaction with the real-world environment prompts unmotivation.
why you keep going at video games but not at real life Take a video game for example. It is highly addictive. One can play for hours on end. Why is that? Well, I think it has to do with the simplified progression system of a video-game compared to real life - there’s a ton of videos on YouTube that approach this exact subject.
A battle plan against unproducivity
I have a dopamine-addiction.
I’m hooked. And this is a record of acknowledgement of things that have been holding me back:
fapping coffee It induces a state of dopamine and cortisol. anime porn/hentai memes anime-twitter; political twitter. All dumb shit. This morning I woke up to study. Only to faulter by “Imma just read a chapter of Tower of God”. I still haven’t studied shit today and it’s 16:34 by the time I am writing this.
